Fantastic video. Recently switched from a stable lower body / restricting the hips to OPS. It took a while but I finally realized the benefits of fast - free flowing hips in the golf swing. This video really explained and showed how to avoid the reverse pivot when turning the hips in the back swing. Great, simple, easy to understand example. Huge help. Wish I lived in Cali, I would schedule a lesson.

Dear Josh,

I found your video on the one plane backswing very good.
As a 2 planer, my takeaway and backswing is quite different.
Could you possibly do a video on the 'two plane backswing'?
I know you're very busy, but I'm sure there are many 2 planer's
scratching their collective heads, not sure how to do it.

Josh,

First of all I want to thank you for all of the valuable video and written information you prvide on the One Plane Seing through Mysmartgolf. I'm 63 and I have be playing golf on and off since I was twelve years old. Throughout my golfing life I've always been uncertain about my golf swing. Intuitively, I think I've always known that I was a one plane swinger but the conventional wisdom, either through books or my golf instructors told me to be a two plane swinger. When Jim Hardy came out with his book and videos I immediately bought them and realized that my intuition was right all along. However, dispite the sound logic of Mr Hardy;s philosophy I found him a little difficult to understand and I continued to vascilate between the two approaches. Then I discoverd your videos and MySmartGolf. You are an outstanding teacher. You communicate very clearly and you make the golf swing easy to understand. I'm now a full blown one plane swinger and thanks to your outstanding long game and short game instruction my USGA handicap index is now at 6.9. Thanks again for the quality videos and outstanding instruction. I'm telling everyone I know about you web site. Best of luck.

Sincerely,
Lenny Mancini

I found this video on YouTube while searching for anything to help my ailing golf swing. I've been trying to switch over to a one plane type swing and "stable release" from more of a classic swing and roll release. My problem is I can keep the handle moving and body turning with short irons but when I get to mid to long irons and woods I hit huge slices or shank the ball. I'm trying to keep the handle and body moving but something is wrong. Any help?
