		<description><![CDATA[You are essentialy correct with regard to the bowed position causing a slice, but for players who have &quot;quick&quot; this can have the opposite effect. A player&#039;s hands can in fact be out of position at the top (bowed, inside) and try to overcompensate on the downswing to try to get the clubface back in to position. This can actually cause a hook if the player&#039;s hands are too quick. So I wouldn&#039;t say absolutely that if you hook the ball that you shouldn&#039;t flatten your hands at the top.
